Our work

Real systems, running in the real world.

We build data and AI capability for nonprofits, foundations, and the systems that serve communities. Here's a look at what that has meant for the organizations we've worked alongside.

Selected engagements

A closer look at three.

Each of these began somewhere different, a coalition of community organizations, a workforce nonprofit, a national foundation, and each ended with capability the organization still runs today.

Build Coalition of nonprofits

One platform, shared by a whole coalition.

The opportunity

A coalition of nearly twenty community organizations wanted to work as one, sharing programs, events, and the families they serve, instead of each carrying its own disconnected tools. They needed a single application every partner could use, without every partner having to build it.

What we built

A shared web application with a family-facing portal and an admin side for staff, so any partner organization can create events, manage accounts, and serve families from one place. Built once, adopted across the network, and shaped by what partners actually asked for as they came on.

A live platform the coalition runs today, with partner organizations signing on and using it in the field, and families reaching the programs meant for them through a single front door.

Accelerate Workforce nonprofit

A reporting cycle that used to take a season, now runs in two weeks, every time.

The opportunity

A New Orleans workforce nonprofit produced its impact report by hand each cycle, pulling data from its case-management system and other tools, reconciling it, and shaping it into something stakeholders could act on. Done manually, it stretched across roughly three months, and it had to happen again every year.

What we sustain

We built a repeatable reporting engine, then stayed on to run it. The data sources stay connected and reconciled, the analysis and charts stay standardized, and each cycle we produce a clean executive summary and deck. Over the last couple of years it has become an ongoing partnership that gets sharper every cycle.

A reporting process that once took about three months now runs in two weeks, cycle after cycle, freeing the team to spend the time on the mission instead of the spreadsheet, with a report their funders and staff trust year over year.

Discover National foundation

A decade of impact, told in one clear voice.

The opportunity

A national foundation had spent a decade transforming a local youth ecosystem. The evidence, the stories, and the data all existed, but they lived in separate channels, conversations, and local knowledge. What was missing was a single narrative that could move the work forward.

What we built

We ran more than thirty-five in-depth interviews with the people closest to the work, explored the historical context and local wisdom, and wove it into one narrative that brought visualization, insight, and authentic community voices together.

Leaders could see the foundation's legacy and direction in one place. Policymakers could reference it in strategy. The community could see one interconnected system at work.

Where we go deep

We know these fields, and the communities and families in them.

Our track record, our language, and our relationships are concentrated where we can do the most good, so an engagement starts with understanding already in place.

Workforce development

Apprenticeship and workforce systems that need to prove employment and earnings outcomes, right as the funding and policy landscape rewards organizations that can.

Youth-serving systems

Organizations and initiatives serving young people, where intake, outcomes, and story all have to hold together across many partners.

Place-based ecosystems

Funders and coalitions working a whole community at once, where seeing across the system matters as much as any single program.

Working closely across Dallas, Houston, Jackson, Los Angeles, and New Orleans.

How we work

The same rhythm, every engagement.

However we start, the shape of the work is consistent, so you always know what comes next.

01

Understand

We start by learning how you actually work today, before we recommend a single thing.

02

Design

We shape a plan you can approve, with the scope, the cost, and the outcome all clear up front.

03

Build

We make it real, with your team alongside us, so the capability lives with you, ready to run on its own.

04

Sustain

We stay in your corner so what we built stays current, trusted, and worth the investment.

Your work could be the next one.

Tell us where you're starting. A 30-minute call is enough to know which stage fits and what it would take.
